"I have had a long career in the creative and performing arts, along with coaching business leaders for 30 years. My books and illustrations tend to reflect philosophies of being true to oneself, stepping into your destiny, and evoking transformation to overcome obstacles for a noble purpose. I love whimsy and fantasy, so I share my perspectives through metaphor: an ogre who strives to overcome his natural tendencies; a little girl who dreams of dancing with the faeries; a faery-changeling who discovers her true path in life. My books have attracted the very young to those who feel that they are too old for faery tales. However, because of the philosophical nature of my stories, the themes of overcoming odds, stepping into your "full self", and what it is to give and receive unconditional love resonates with my readers.
